I honestly don’t know why I took this photo. The bicycles at the railing and those buildings in the back reminded me of something nice. I’m not sure, but as I was standing there, on that cloudy day in Manchester, I had the feeling that I had seen this picture before, somewhere. That’s probably what pushed me to press the shooter. Anyway…I like it! From the first moment I saw it on the screen of my camera, I already knew that it would end up on my plog. Why do I like it? Don’t ask me. I don’t know, for the same reason I don’t know why I took it. It reminds me of something, but I can’t remember what. Actually, it doesn’t matter, after all. I don’t always have to know the reason that makes me like something, why not just enjoy it? Someday I’ll find out what was touching me, and that will probably happen the day I stop liking it, so I won’t care anymore. You may think “Stupid boy, if he knew what was moving him, he could have found similar things and have had more joy”. I’ll tell you that in this world, there are many, if not countless things to which the rule “less is more” fully applies. Don’t miss those things. Enjoy what you already have.
