This picture was taken on my return flight from the USA. After three months of hard VFR and IFR training, of cool trips and funny nights out all around Florida, it was time to go home. My lifestyle had already become American, so I had to get used to not having a McDonald’s every 10 miles anymore, huge 24 hour supermarkets, highways with 7 lanes and cheap clothes everywhere. It was a “back to little Switzerland”. But I felt home from the first moment I touched ground outside the airport in Agno. After my return some things didn’t go the way I hoped, but now I’m focusing on completing my ATPL training and successfully passing all exams. During the next four weeks we’ll be based in Grenchen for intensive IFR flying on the DA42. Hoping to encounter some nice weather conditions (and by nice I also mean low ceilings :D) I’m really excited for this phase!
